Kid's camp

UpGarden welcomes any opportunity to partner with organizations in and around Lower Queen Anne and Seattle Center. Our partnerships help us put the “community” in “community garden”!

UpGarden currently serves students at:

 • Center High School
 • Seattle Children’s Museum
 • The Pacific Science Center
 • Lowell Elementary

Students visit the garden for workshops, after-school volunteering sessions, or on field trips.

Our “Touch and Smell” garden specifically caters to vision-challenged children who come up for day camps.

The Gleaning and Giving Garden teams deliver fresh produce to Queen Anne Food Bank, Ballard Food Bank, and New Horizons Youth Shelter. Last year, the Giving Garden harvested and donated 936 pounds of produce! The Gleaning team donated 409 pounds on top of that.
